This is a great example of a two-year-old full restoration.
The body and paint have been completed by a professional restorer. The body finishing is top quality, panel gaps are accurate, the panels are smooth and ripple free. The hood is light-weight fiberglass that is finished to a high degree.
Paint quality is also top notch, with the multi-stage red paint well kept and suits the vehicle, color changed during restoration from original code Y silver Blue to Red.
Interior is correctly restored in the original black, is immaculate with the only changes being the driver’s seat for a bolstered sports model, and some wear to the driver’s armrest.
The power comes from a professionally-built and balanced 351 Windsor V8, which features Keith Black pistons, a Roller valve train, new Holley 650, Bee Cool alloy Rad with electric fan, and ceramic coated headers.
The transmission is fully-rebuilt and modified with a shift kit C4 Automatic, and a ratchet-style shifter.
Differential is open 3:1 ratio
Handling has been addressed with the addition of a full Global West tubular A-arm front end and braking with Wilwood disc brakes at front.
Looking under the vehicle you will notice sub frame connectors are installed. The underside is clean and no rust visible in the sill and floor pan areas, which are common areas of rust for Mustangs.
The vehicle has accumulated very few miles following the restoration. This car is built to drive and enjoy.
Overall this car presents very well, and is available at far less than what it would cost to build today.
